MATA - Mirrors at the Arcade 

Mirrors at the Arcade (MATA) are a Boorloo/Walyalup based indie punk-rock band, fusing raw energy with theatrical flair. Fronted by Eden Elis (E Leis), a gender-fluid songwriter whose voice carries both grit and vulnerability, MATA delivers foot stomping riffs, bass driven grooves, and lyrics that embrace rebellion, chaos, and authentic emotion.
 Influenced by 2000’s emo and pop punk, MATA’s ideology continues to carry the torch of punk rock; highlighting social inadequacies, non-conformity and the value of self-worth through their energetic material. 

Bassist Keir Brown , pianist Matt Linkie , Guitar/Synth Nicole C and drummer Lachie Standing complete the lineup, grounding MATA’s sound in equal parts technical prowess and chaotic heart. Together, they’ve supported Spacey Jane, Sly Withers, South Summit, and Surf Shop Cops, while winning Amplifier’s Battle of the Bands and tearing up stages from Karridale to Fremantle’s International Street Arts Festival.
