Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA

For more than 150 years, the Mission Investment Fund (MIF) has walked alongside ELCA congregations and ministries as they plan, repair, renew and reimagine the spaces where ministry happens.

As a church extension fund and separately incorporated ministry of the ELCA, MIF connects investments from ELCA congregations, ministries and members with loans that help finance church and ministry projects across the country. These projects include land and building purchases, renovations, accessibility improvements, green initiatives and refinancing.
