The television business is a wonderful environment for a journalist like myself who has an Edward R. Murrow and numerous Associated Press awards. 

This certainly isn’t a job but a daily labor of love as I contact at least 65 people on a daily basis before I even start work!  I usually rotate those folks among my hundreds of contacts. 

Now, why do I do what I do?  Putting food on the table is important as is the ability to pay a couple of bills. But, the basic reason is that I’m really good at what I do. I can anchor a flawless show and still be the journalist in the building who is constantly working to break news.

I want to be the go to person for what’s going on in our viewing area. Then, getting that information to the viewers in a timely and professional manner. 

On the personal side, I have a wife and 3 daughters and we all love nature, music and sports. Vacations are nice as long as there is a cell signal. Lol
