Corn tortillas, beans and spicy salsas are unmistakable products of Mexican cuisine worldwide. Less well known is that Mexican cuisine also has a wide variety of delicious side dishes, soups, salads and desserts and that these are the result of the culinary crossbreeding between the new and the old world.
