Founded in 2015 as a deep-tech startup from Kyoto University, Metro Weather develops Doppler LiDAR systems that visualize 3D wind conditions in real time by analyzing frequency shifts caused by airborne particles.
With advanced remote sensing and proprietary signal processing technologies, we’ve achieved compact, high-performance devices capable of wide-area, high-precision wind monitoring.
We aim to expand into diverse fields using our wind data and object detection technologies, contributing to a safer global society.

メトロウェザーは、2015年に京都大学発のディープテックスタートアップとして創業し、微細な塵の動きによる光の周波数変化（ドップラー効果）を解析することで、風況をリアルタイムかつ3次元で可視化するドップラー・ライダーを開発しています。
京都大学で培ったリモートセンシング技術と独自の信号解析技術により、小型高性能化と広範囲・高精度な風況観測を実現。風況データに加え、物体検知技術の応用により、安心・安全な社会づくりに貢献することを目指しています。
