Melbourne Songwriters Collective

Melbourne Songwriters Collective is a collaborative project based on songwriting, shared values and authentic creativity. Founded by @soundofstav, @pianesvara and @chevperson. 

First meeting at a Folk Alliance International Unlocked showcase in 2021, they have since hosted songwriting workshops and performed at festivals and venues around Australia, including the National Folk Festival, Dorrigo Music Festival and an East-Coast tour. 

A spin on performing ‘in the round’, the project sees each songwriter rise to the stage one by one with their original songs, not alone, but backed up by harmonies and heartfelt arrangements from the two other songwriters.
