Midland County Utility District

The Midland County Utility District (MCUD) was created by the State of Texas to ensure access to safe and dependable water service and fire protection for the communities within its defined boundaries. 

We are committed to transparency, responsible governance, and long-term planning that reflects the needs of those we serve. As part of that commitment, the district is actively securing water rights from sources outside of Midland County to support long-term supply and system reliability.
