Max's Wine Dive

Max's Wine Dive is a Southern comfort food restaurant and wine bar on Washington Avenue in Houston. Fried chicken and champagne is the dish we're known for.

Come for the fried chicken. Stay for the wacky adventures. This is what happens in and around the kitchen at Max's, with the people who run it: cooking, wine, the occasional trip out of the building, and whatever the crew gets into along the way. Once a month we do a wine dinner, five courses and five wines in a room built for fried chicken.
