Born and raised in Montreal, Maus grew up on jazz and disco, developing a lifelong passion for groove and emotion in sound. A driving force in Montreal’s underground since the late ’90s, she was crowned Montreal’s Drum & Bass Queen in 1999 before fully embracing the underground sounds of House and Techno.
In 2000, Maus embarked on her first European tour, promoting her debut mixed CD Intersections (Haute-Couture Records, Canada). Praised by XLR8R, Coda, and URB Magazine (Next 100), she performed at major festivals like Sonar (Barcelona) and Francofolies (La Rochelle), and renowned venues including Batofar, Nouveau Casino in Paris, as well as Lisbon’s Lux.
In Montreal, Maus is a regular DJ at world-famous Stereo Nightclub and holds her long-running Danse Contact night at Salon Daome. Known for her solid grooves and soulful touch, she continues to ignite dance floors delivering timeless, heartfelt sets that connect elegance with raw underground energy
