Born in Southwest Virginia and forged at Radford University, Matt Jones & The Bobs blend Americana roots, folk-rock grit, and honest storytelling into a sound that hits with both nostalgia and fresh energy. 

Their 2014 debut Brother’s Hymn captured small-town life and heartache with raw sincerity, earning them an early loyal following.

After a decade-long hiatus, the band reunited in 2024, bringing a renewed americana folk fire and subtle 90s alt-rock undertones to their signature style. Their music remains anchored in vulnerable, narrative-driven songwriting songs about love, loss, resilience, and the moments that shape us.
