God's Teaching - David Wilkerson

David Ray Wilkerson (May 19, 1931 - April 27, 2011 [1]) was an American Christian missionary, best known for his book The Cross and the Switchblade. He is the founder of the Teen Challenge detox program, and the founding pastor of the non-denominational Times Square Church in New York City.

Wilkerson's popular sermons, such as "A Call to Anguish," were known to be direct and forthright against apostasy and earnest in his commitment to the teachings of Jesus. -su. He emphasized Christian beliefs such as the holiness and righteousness of God, God's love for man, and especially the Christian view of Jesus. Wilkerson tries to avoid classifying Christians into distinct groups according to the denomination to which they belong.

Wilkerson was killed in a head-on collision in Texas on April 27, 2011. [1] He was 79 years old.
