Welcome to Matthew Crane Studios.

My channel is focused on the intersections of Music, Art and Mental Health.  I also host a podcast called Birds in the Sky that explores how people have found solutions to challenges of life through art making practices. 

After my service in the Navy 2001-2006, I've spent subsequent years touring in bands, recording music, oil painting, acting and honing photography  skills. Along the way, a lot of good friends and family lost their lives to suicide. This channel is dedicated to celebrating the arts as a way to maximize our mental health.
