Mathematical Picture Language

We began to record our seminars in March 2020, once we started to meet by Zoom. Perhaps sharing them does a small amount toward replacing the personal interaction that we miss within our scientific community. In any case we hope that our unprofessional snapshots of these events will spread some joy, and perhaps they can even help some viewers in their own research.

The Mathematical Picture Language Project represents our attempt to re-evaluate ways that one can use pictures, both to gain mathematical insights, and moreover to prove mathematical theorems. We are also working to develop some practical implementations of our theoretical work. One can learn more from the links on the bottom of the photo above or at https://mathpicture.fas.harvard.edu
