Mashav MFA

MASHAV is Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Established in 1958, MASHAV leads Israel’s efforts to share knowledge, technologies, and proven methodologies in support of sustainable development worldwide. Placing people at the heart of development, MASHAV focuses on human capacity building and a 'training of trainers' approach. Activities include professional training, expert consultancies, and the establishment of Centers of Excellence.

In alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, MASHAV works across priority sectors where Israel holds comparative advantage, such as food security, agriculture, education, climate change, public health, innovation, and humanitarian assistance. In partnership with governments, NGOs, international organizations, and the private sector, MASHAV contributes to global efforts to reduce poverty, build resilience, and leave no one behind.
