I've been painting for over 23 years in watercolor - it's my passion. 

I love loose and fluid watercolor, and these last few years my substrate of choice is Yupo Paper. When dry it leaves the fluidity and vibrancy of watercolor, where as traditional watercolor paper absorbs that look of fluidity...drying to a lighter faded color. Although, I do I love the results of both on both Yupo and regular watercolor paper...it just depends on my mood and subject.

I reside part-time on the Kenai Peninsula, in Alaska, and part-time in Oregon; therefore a few of my paintings reflect Alaska/Oregon life around me... fishing, beach, and the wildflowers that paint the Alaskan/Oregon landscape.
