Creative Life with Marla Beck

I’m Marla Beck—writer, musician and creativity coach.

This channel is about the creative life and the living of it: making more time and space for creative work, developing a creative practice, getting unstuck, beginning, finishing, putting work out and paying attention to what makes us feel most alive.

I’ve been making things—songs, writing, photographs—since early childhood. I hold an MFA in creative writing, and these days I’m growing as a singer-songwriter and (wheee!) performer.

For more than twenty years, I’ve helped people make more time, space and structure for the creative work—and parts of themselves—that truly matter.

Here I share ideas about creativity and creative practice, along with music, writing and glimpses into my own creative life.
