Marine Protected Area Collaborative Network

California implemented a world-class system of 124 marine protected areas (MPAs) in 2012, created through a comprehensive stakeholder-led public process. The MPA Collaborative Network is a "network of networks" working together to locally steward California's 124+ MPAs. Collaboratives, members, and partners create videos to help raise awareness of MPAs and encourage involvement.
