Sacramento Art Classes by Margaret Blanchfield

Welcome! I’m watercolor artist and instructor Margaret Blanchfield, and I help artists build their watercolor skills, discover their creativity, and enjoy the process of painting.

Here you’ll find watercolor tutorials, painting tips, techniques, creative experiments, and inspiration for beginners through experienced painters. My approach is encouraging, practical, and fun—because watercolor doesn’t have to be intimidating!

I also teach live online and in-person watercolor classes and workshops, where you can grow your skills, connect with other artists, and create paintings you’re proud of.
