Marcus Snorelius

Hi, My same is Sam and welcome to Marcus Snorelius, philosophy for people who would like to think deeply, just preferably with their eyes closed.

Every video starts with research. My team and I dig through philosophy, biographies, historical sources, lectures, documentaries, and the original ideas of the thinkers we’re covering. Once we understand what they were actually trying to say, we write the script ourselves, shape it into a story, and add our own commentary, and structure.

Then comes the narration, followed by editing and animation. Marcus gets brought into a new setting for each video, with custom scenes, background visuals, illustrations, captions, and other little details designed to make the whole thing interesting enough to learn from, but calm enough that you don’t need to stay awake for the ending.

If you enjoy them, consider subscribing.

Marcus Snorelius would appreciate it. He has already spent far too long thinking about whether you will.
