Map & Matter

MAP & MATTER | Authored Journeys & Travel Stories

Travel begins with a place, a season and a reason to go.

MAP & MATTER is a Private Journey Society creating authored small-group journeys around landscapes, routes, culture and the people who make a place meaningful.

Here we share the thinking behind travel: distinctive places, the right time to experience them, how routes are designed, field notes, travel photography and creative journeys taking shape.

Our journey research includes places such as Madeira, Tenerife, Venice and the Basque Country. Each story is a way to look closer, not a checklist of attractions.
