Subscribe to support an indie game dev! I mainly post variant gameplay, but also like to experiment with other kinds of content. Ideas and feedback are very welcome 🙂

Meta-variant Chess (mchess.io) is the website I'm developing with friends, it's essentially a custom built game engine which allows us to create a wide range of novel variants and, more interestingly, mix these variants together in all sorts of ways - leading to emergent gameplay and other oddities.

mchess is a sandbox, where we hope to allow the creation of (basically) any variant you can think of. We have a community discord, which is a great place to find players, and give feedback or suggestions: https://discord.gg/wxBjaKfhDu

If anyone is interested, my regular chess strength is around 2000 rapid, 1800 blitz/bullet (on chesscom). Although no promises Ill be playing to that level 😅
