Manic Pixie Science Girl is a singer, songwriter, and ukulele player, based in San Francisco. 

Her life-long love for science education and outreach led her to writing science love song - which she describes as not songs about science, but love songs with science analogies. She is a biotechnologist with a PhD in chemical biology.
