Making it From Here

Hello, I’m Jenn.

I’m so glad you’re here!

Join me as I figure out how to make a good life from where I am. Here you’ll find soapmaking, cooking from scratch, homemaking, DIY projects, gardening, chickens, old-fashioned skills, fixing things, and the everyday work of making a home.

I love creating things that are useful and beautiful, learning how to do things for myself, and figuring out how to make things work—even when life doesn’t go quite according to plan.
I’m not trying to have a perfect life. I’m just making the most of what I have, learning as I go, and refusing to quit.
I’d love for you to follow along as I make, fix, learn, and keep moving forward. Come make it from here with me!
