Mackenzie Yard

I first came to Ningbo back in 2001, when I was just 23. After more than 20 years of hard work, I’ve built a life here—I’ve got my own career, the person I love, and two wonderful kids. Ningbo has truly become my second hometown.

Sure, the summers can get really hot and the winters are damp and chilly, but this city is a part of me now. I love it, and through this channel I want to share Ningbo with the world—no matter where you’re from or what color your skin is. If you ever get the chance, come visit Ningbo, explore it, and enjoy what it has to offer.

As for why I named this channel Mackenzie’s Yard, it’s because I love a TV show called Outlander. The main character’s mom’s family name is Mackenzie, and they live in a castle with her uncles. I just thought the name sounded really nice, so I decided to use it. If you haven’t seen the show yet, I highly recommend it—it’s amazing!
