LY CHƯ SUN

Born in an impoverished rural area, 17-year-old Ly Chu Sun had to set aside his childhood early on, moving out to live independently following family upheavals. Deep in the forest, the slight teenager built himself a sturdy shelter—an elevated hut framed with wood and bamboo—to serve as a safe haven.

A harsh struggle for survival has forged in Sun an extraordinary resilience. He crafts his own tools, weaves traps to catch plump carp from the stream, and tends his garden diligently. The once-barren soil now yields massive produce, providing sustenance for his simple, hastily prepared meals. Despite the hardships, Sun is never truly alone; a loyal little dog is always by his side.

Right now, as a steady rain falls outside the hut, Sun sits warming himself by the fire. He waits patiently for the storm to pass so he can watch the clouds drift lazily and the crimson sun slowly set. Rising above adversity, Ly Chu Sun continues to forge his own path, living a life of freedom and resilience
