Lazair Project 89

The open air cockpit at 45mph is a nice place to be.
Backstory: Project 89 is a channel for people also obsessed with ultralight airplanes and other Part 103 aircraft. I focus on salvageable Quicksilver and Lazair ultralights from the 1980's, rebuilding using modern components.
I run a '75 hangar and 2600' grass airstrip is home to the 103rd Aerosquadron ultralight club. The only spot of it's kind in my area dedicated to Part 103 ultralights. It's my hope that more people can safely enjoy uncertified flight, resurrect amazing barn finds, while enjoying the extremely low overhead when it comes to aircraft ownership. My videos explore the freedom and enjoyment of flight, and also the more technical restoration and mechanical work.
