Lunar & The Deception

Lunar & The Deception have made waves in Darkwave / Dream pop music, garnering attention from a wide
range of audiences and playing a number of major festivals including Glastonbury in 2016 and 2019. The UK-
based four piece draws inspiration from its members different interests and international backgrounds. 
Lead vocalist, Britt Xyra Dusk, concerns herself with anthropology, ancient civilisations, paganism, mythology,
folklore, moon worship and pre-patriarchal society in her life and music. 
The award winning costume designer and published Poet from Durban, South Africa expresses her call to activism and reinterpreted history alongside kindred spirits of Lunar & The Deception. They combine celestial synth-scapes, tribal rhythms, dramatic strings and hypnotic vocals to create a journey of sound, loaded with prophecy, emotion & poetry. Britt's avant-garde visual direction contributes to the sonic out–of–body experience giving the listener the tools to communicate with the ancients.
