Lumen Horizon

Lumen Horizon: space science, told by the oldest light in the universe.

Meet Lumen, a single photon (a particle of light) from the cosmic microwave background. It was set free about 380,000 years after the Big Bang, crossed the universe for 13.8 billion years, and just reached Earth. Now it answers your questions about space: black holes, stars, planets, distances, time, and the biggest mysteries science hasn't solved yet.

Every video is checked against scientific sources like NASA, ESA and peer-reviewed research, and we always say clearly what is known and what is still a hypothesis. The characters are drawn for fun. The science is real.

Got a question about space? Leave it in the comments. Lumen might answer it in an "Ask Lumen" episode.
