Lucinda Halpern

I’m Lucinda Halpern — literary agent, author, and founder of Lucinda Literary.

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked across New York publishing and media, helping authors sharpen their ideas, define their audiences, and build books that can perform in the marketplace.

On this channel, I share practical publishing guidance for writers — from developing a strong book idea and writing a compelling proposal to finding a literary agent, building an author platform, choosing the right publishing path, and understanding what agents, editors, publishers, and readers are looking for.

I’m also the author of Get Signed: Find an Agent, Land a Book Deal, and Become a Published Author.

If you’re serious about getting your book into the world, you’re in the right place.
