Heidi Blum | The Food Czar

Welcome to The Food Czar!

I'm Heidi Blum, aka The Food Czar, and I'm all about great food, great people and the stories behind the restaurants!

From hidden gems and neighborhood favorites to exciting new openings, I'm traveling throughout New Jersey and beyond, spotlighting the restaurants and hardworking people who make the food scene so special.

And don't miss my Chicken Salad Series, where I'm always on the hunt for the next great chicken salad!

I'm also the host of Behind the Counter with The Food Czar, where I sit down with chefs, restaurant owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders to hear their journeys, challenges and successes.

I'm not a food critic. I'm a restaurant spotlighter who believes food brings people together.

Subscribe and come along for the ride. There's always something delicious to discover!
