Lost Appalachian Towns & Coal Country

Welcome to Lost Appalachian Towns & Coal Country, a fully owned media property. All content is original and produced exclusively by our team. We explore forgotten coal towns, erased company towns, drowned mountain communities, and the deep industrial history of the Appalachian region.

Our Production Process:
We handle every step of the creative cycle in-house:

Research & Scripting: In-depth research into regional archives, historical census records, and industrial logs for 100% original scripts.

Voiceover & Audio: Recorded in-house by the channel owner in a clear, compelling, and respectful tone.

Visual Editing: Professional software (Premiere/After Effects) combining restored historical photographs, vintage maps, and visual breakdowns.

Licensed Assets: All third-party assets are fully licensed.
