Long Overdue Books

Long Overdue Books is a Chicago-based community for creating books. We help writers go from first idea to finished, published book through creative writing classes, editing, book design, and self-publishing support.

Got a book you’ve been meaning to write for years? That’s the one we’re here for. On this channel, you’ll find writing tips, self-publishing advice, behind-the-scenes looks at how a book actually gets made, and conversations with our authors about the stories behind their books.

What we help with:
✍️ Creative writing classes, from blank page to first draft
📝 Editing and manuscript feedback
📚 Cover and interior book design
🚀 Publishing guidance for independent authors

We’re the publisher of Safe Landing, Heart & Sole, Here or There, Oh Mother How Funny, and 25+ more titles.

Subscribe, and finally finish that long overdue book.
