LIMARC Long Island Mobile Amateur Radio Club

For over 60 years, LIMARC has been a leader in amateur radio and public service. From Morse Code to Digital Mobile Radio, we offer something for every enthusiast. As one of the largest ham radio clubs in the United States, we provide endless resources to enhance your experience. Our events include Field Day, various Hamfests, license exam sessions, and our participation and support of Ham Radio University, among many others.

We meet every 2nd Wednesday at Levittown Hall in Hicksville (except July & August). LIMARC members support public service events like marathons and bike tours.

With top-tier repeater systems, including 2 meters, 70 cm, DMR, Fusion, Echolink, and IRLP, our flagship 146.850 MHz repeater hosts the renowned “Tech Net” and other specialty nets. We maintain 11 repeater systems from 2 meters to 1288 MHz, covering a wide geographic area.
