Lonavala International Film Festival India

The first five editions of the festival were very successful. Several esteemed artists and film makers from the Indian film industry like Shyam Benegal, Naseeruddin Shah, Ketan Mehta, Govind Nihalani, Sudhir Mishra, Anant Mahadevan, Deepa Sahi, Rajit Kapoor and many more graced the first film festival. Several students came last year and benefited hugely, meeting actors like Shabana Azmi, and attending workshops with Joy Sengupta and Tushar Bhatia. As part of our social outreach in the last two years, we invited schools to have special screening of films for children. Our outreach was extended to under privileged children as well as children with special needs, schools for children from tribal areas, orphanages etc.
