The Rock-Ola Killer is not a usual novel, but a breakneck journey through Madrid in the eighties: a nocturnal road crossing Malasaña, Chamartín and Chueca, with neon lights like flares and youth hanging from the rearview mirror. It beats with music crafted for every scene, like a secret vinyl spinning along, and the voices speak in the slang of the time, that mix of rage, street and cheek that drags you into the club even if you’re reading on a 21st-century phone. It’s a collaborative tale, shouted through smoke and dark doorways: no single author rules here, the crowd does. Readers decide the fate of Lola “the Irish girl” in a literary mosh pit where everyone pushes and nobody stays clean. AI blends the city noise with the pulse of the plot, composes tracks, suggests images, and speeds up when the night heats up. Not nostalgia, but an electric exorcism reviving the rawest Movida. A wild road movie where the destination may be marked by a ghost: The Rock-Ola Killer.
