KATARYA

I sing when I have a hard time speaking

I'm an Independent Egyptian American songwriter and producer writing songs for the last 12 years

After releasing my initial debut EP Monsters in 2023, perfectionism and newly heightened fears of failure have lead me to spend years alone working on my craft, my music and myself. Along the way, I performed dozens of open mics and local shows all over the DMV. Growing as a person, performer and songwriter. I started working remotely with friends on more and more material that I was more and more proud of

it is now my mission to put all of this art out. to express myself as honestly and authentically as possible. to tell the stories I went through and hard lessons I learned. in the hopes it reaches whoever relates to them, whenever they need it
