Liz Eastland Art

I am a multi-arts practitioner based in Sydney, Australia (Ku-ring-gai). I am fascinated and have formal education across many disciplines. Early on, I graduated from Concordia University, Montreal with a degree in creative writing and computer science, then later in life from the National Art School in 2009. In 2015 I was awarded my PhD from Sydney College of Art exploring ethnographic film techniques filming four female scientists working on breakthrough science, under Prof Ross Gibson.

I embrace life as an adventure. I have a passion for long distance walking and the ocean, swimming in it and sailing across it. Formally trained in writing, drawing, painting and film, my current practice is based in all four, informed through walking and moving slowly through the landscape.

On this channel I will post the films I have created through these adventures.
