ROOTS AND ROUTES: A LIVING ARCHIVE is a research and academic endeavor that presents unique research and discussions. The research and discussions are centered on undocumented and 'not so much talked about' histories, cultures, and traditions of places across the world.

INITIATED by Sayan Dey, currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department, English Studies, Bayan College (affiliated to Purdue University Northwest), Oman, the platform promotes unique cultural stories from India and the world in the following areas - postcolonial studies, decolonial studies, history, sociology, anthropology, geography, racial studies, performing arts, visual arts, sports, political science, history of regular sciences and economics.

THE CENTRAL PURPOSE of including so many disciplines is to develop a de-hierarchical and horizontal, transdisciplinary platform for regular socio-historical and cultural dialogues.
