Peggy's Kitchen

Right then, love. Kettle's on.

I'm Peggy, and this is my kitchen. I cook the dinners my generation grew up on: cheap, filling and made from whatever's in the cupboard.

A lot of us are cooking for one now, so I keep it simple. Three ingredients where I can, and two portions every time: one for tonight, one for the freezer. Every recipe comes with what it costs today, in pounds and dollars.

Wherever you grew up, I'd bet your grandma made half of these too. She just called them something different.
