Lindsey and Gerrit / Surya Bhakti

Lindsey (voice, drum, harmonium) and Gerrit (guitar, percussion, voice) came together as a musical duo in 2016, on the streets of Granada, Spain. They self-recorded their first album of own songs, La Primera Aventura, in June 2019. Since then, Lindsey and Gerrit have continued to perform and travel with their music throughout Spain, Germany, Netherlands, UK, China, Myanmar, Thailand... Playing their own songs ('music with a message') wherever they went. Their second album of own songs was in the recording stage in 2020, but after releasing two singles (Freedom Libertad and Ride the storm), was put on hold.

The other side of the Lindsey and Gerrit project is mantra and medicine music, as the duo Surya Bhakti (@suryabhaktimusic). Sound journeys, cacao ceremonies, accompanying yoga classes with live music or guiding kirtan/mantra singing circles are some of the ways in which they continue to bring music to all sorts healing spaces across the world.
