LinChu｜The Feelings We Never Said Out Loud in Our Youth

Some feelings were never spoken.
Some people never became anything more.

I sing about the quiet thoughts we carried through our youth—

secretly liking someone,
almost confessing,
caring so much, yet pretending it meant nothing.

I also sing about the moments we only understood after growing up:

the goodnight message we never sent,
the glance we looked away from,
the jealousy we had no right to show,
and the person who still makes our hearts grow quiet
whenever we remember them years later.

If there was ever something
you almost said out loud,

perhaps
you’ll hear a piece of your younger self here. 🤍🌷
