LILLIPUT HISTORY

Forget about dates and dynasties. LILLIPUT HISTORY looks at history from the bottom up. We search for the traces of ordinary people: in the embers of a dead hearth, in the calluses on hands, in the records of tax ledgers.

Each of our videos is a slow walk through a single day in the life of a person whose name history did not preserve. We talk about hunger and exhaustion, about the fear of tomorrow and the small joys that helped people survive.

There are no heroes here. There are only people. And you are among them.
