Liisten to Liib

No talk, just music - I sit down with a piece of gear — a synth, a plugin, a drum machine, a microphone — and try to make music with it. That's the whole idea.

Liisten to Liib is about making music, not reviewing it. What I care about is how a piece of equipment feels in the moment: how it inspires me, where it pushes me, and how even its limits can shape a track in ways I wouldn't have found otherwise. The featured gear is the main event, but it's never a cage — I'll reach for other instruments, samples, whatever the song needs.

More than anything, I want to show that you don't need the perfect setup or a plan to start. You just need to sit down and make something. If this gets even one person to open their DAW and try, that's a win.

I'm Liib - artist, producer and mixing engineer from Cologne, Germany.
