Lidt Dansk | Learn Danish with Stories

Learn Danish with short stories for adults – real dilemmas, dry humour, simple language.

Most easy Danish is easy because nothing happens in it. Someone buys bread. Someone asks the way to the station.

What I enjoy most about Denmark happens elsewhere: in the dilemmas a whole country argues about on a Saturday morning, in the note on the stairwell, in "det er fint" when it clearly isn't, and in everything a single "nå" can mean. That's what these stories are about. The language is simple. The stories aren't.

Each video is a whole story, marked with its level, with a free PDF book linked below. Subscribe for the next one.
