Constitution of Cumann Liam agus Thomáis Uí Fhlaithearta / Liam and Tom O’Flaherty Society

1.Name: This Society shall be called the Liam and Tom O’Flaherty Society and/ or Cumann Liam agus Thomáis Uí Fhlaithearta.

2. Main Object: The Purpose of this Society shall be promoting the writings and work of Liam and Tom O’Flaherty and their life and times.

Subsidiary Object(s): In furtherance exclusively of the foregoing main object, the Society shall have the following subsidiary objects:
i. Organizing an annual O’Flaherty Weekend highlighting aspects of the the writings and work of Liam and Tom O’Flaherty and their life and times.
ii. Being involved in republishing their writings
iii. Promoting their writings in local libraries
iv. To host public lectures and/ or film screenings from time to time
