Greatness Is Built Before the Moment

“Everybody wants to be great when it counts. Not everybody prepares like it counts every day.”

The difference between average performers and elite performers is rarely talent alone. Greatness is built in quiet mornings, repetitive drills, disciplined habits, and the willingness to prepare with purpose when nobody is watching. Everyone dreams of delivering under pressure, but pressure only exposes the level of preparation beneath the surface.

The truth is simple: the game never rises to our expectations — it reveals our preparation. Those who commit themselves to disciplined daily work give themselves the best chance to perform when it matters most. Greatness is not an event. It is a lifestyle of preparation.
