Leicestershire Archaeological & Historical Society

Founded in 1855, we promote the history, heritage and archaeolog of the county of leicestershire, England.
Our main activities centre around a lecture programme, publications, research and grant-giving. Each year we publish an academic journal called 'Transactions', and a magazine called 'Leicestershire Historian'.
