Brookhaven Landfill Action and Remediation Group

We are the Brookhaven Landfill Action & Remediation Group (BLARG). The Brookhaven Landfill is the site of a major waste crisis on Long Island that is actively polluting the air, land, and water of the surrounding communities. Our mission is to support direct efforts to attain environmental justice in the North Bellport community through the implementation of local and regional waste plans that are equitable, sustainable, measurable, and public.
