LABAA | Laboratory of Audiovisual Anthropology

Welcome to the official channel of LABAA (Laboratory of Audiovisual Anthropology), an academic research unit linked to the State University of Bahia (UNEB), in Brazil.

Our space is dedicated to disseminating research, commented screenings, film debates, and productions that explore the intersection between cinema, ethnography, and anthropological reflection. Here, we bridge rigorous social research with visual and cinematic language, fostering critical debate and the exchange of knowledge among students, researchers, and the community.

Subscribe to follow our productions, lectures, and audiovisual content.
