KUXX

KUXX (Michael Cook) is a 22 year old Rapper/Singer/Songwriter. Originating from the East Midlands area, he brought a unique ear to the Sheffield music scene in 2012/13. Using music as an outlet, KUXX has managed to cross genres within the paradigm of UK Hip-Hop that would entertain Rap fans and non-Rap fans alike. KUXX was invited as a member to ‘Made In Sheffield’ after continuous support from Sheffield Indie label ‘Fourth City’. Through these contacts KUXX released a 2014 EP entitled ‘Nice To Meet You...’ which received positive feedback from fans, artists and radio producers. Having worked with BBC through BBC Introducing in the past, it is no wonder why KUXX received positive praise from BBC Introducing Sheffield producer, Christian Carlisle, who stated that KUXX “wouldn’t sound out of place not only on the Radio 1Xtra playlist but Radio 1 and could easily bypass us as a route into the music industry”.
